Dr. Bondada Raghavendra Rao — known industry-wide as BRR — founded Bondada Engineering Pvt Ltd in 2012 after a distinguished career as Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at Aster Private Limited, where he led overall operations through a phase of phenomenal growth. A Civil Engineering graduate from Acharya Nagarjuna University, he was honoured with a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) by California Public University, USA. Under his leadership, Bondada Group has scaled across telecom EPC, renewable energy, Indian Railways, green engineering, LED lighting, defence manufacturing, BLDC mobility, and smart materials — building an order book of over ₹15,000 Cr, commissioning 1.3 GWp of renewable capacity, and committing to 25 GW by 2030. He is consistently recognised among India's leading entrepreneurs — featured on the Hurun India 1000 Rich List in 2024 (#649) and 2025 (#908, ₹2,750 Cr family wealth) — and was honoured at the Neo Wealth Hurun Stars of A.P. & Telangana 2026 for his contribution to telecom and infrastructure.

From Aster to Bondada. Before founding Bondada in 2012, BRR served as Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at Aster Private Limited, where the company grew at a phenomenal pace under his operational leadership. That decade-plus apprenticeship in telecom infrastructure execution shaped the playbook he would later use to scale Bondada from a startup to a publicly listed leader.
